Care depends on the fabric, print method, finish, trim, and construction selected for the table cover. Always follow the sewn care label or the instructions supplied with the order. Those instructions take priority over general guidance.
If the construction or finish is unknown, begin with the least aggressive method: blot spills, spot clean with mild soap and cool water, and air dry completely.
Before cleaning: identify the cover
- Check the order, product page, or sewn label for the fabric and care instructions.
- Note whether the cover is stretch, throw, fitted, round, convertible, coated, or otherwise treated.
- Check for zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, elastic, trim, or other permanent components.
- If flame documentation or a liquid-repellent finish matters, confirm whether cleaning affects that order-specific treatment before washing.
Routine spills and spot cleaning
- Blot a liquid spill instead of rubbing it deeper into the fabric.
- Remove loose dirt with a soft cloth or brush.
- Use mild soap and cool water on an inconspicuous area first.
- Avoid abrasive scrubbing, bleach, solvents, and direct heat on printed surfaces.
- Remove soap residue with a clean damp cloth and allow the cover to air dry completely before storage.
Stretch polyester covers
If the sewn label or order instructions confirm machine washing, use a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent and air dry. Otherwise, spot clean. Do not infer dryer, ironing, steaming, or dry-cleaning permission from the words stretch, polyester, 180g, or 240g alone.
Release the cover from every table foot before removal, and avoid pulling one corner against the full tension of the installed cover. Check the Logo Stretch Tablecloth page for current options, then follow the care label supplied with the order.
Non-stretch 300D polyester
A confirmed washable, uncoated 300D cover may allow a cold, gentle wash with mild detergent and air drying. If you do not know the coating, print method, or permanent components, spot clean it instead. Fabric weight alone does not tell you how to clean the cover.

600D, coated, or treated covers
Spot clean 600D, coated, liquid-repellent, flame-treated, or otherwise treated covers unless the sewn label or order instructions allow another method. If the cover has a coating or treatment, ask how washing affects it before putting it in a machine.
Drying, heat, and storage
- Air drying is the safest general default.
- Use a dryer, iron, steamer, or dry-cleaning process only when the order-specific instructions expressly permit it.
- Avoid direct heat on printed surfaces.
- Store the cover only when it is clean and fully dry.
- Label the storage bag with the cover size, style, and booth or brand name when several covers travel together.
