Product Overview
Custom printed canopy tent mesh walls in breathable woven fabric. They let air move through your setup, define your space, and carry your brand. The airflow alternative to solid walls, designed for outdoor summer events, sports sidelines, and any tent setup where heat management matters more than full privacy. Sized to match every MVP Visuals tent from 5x5 to 20x20.
Note: walls only. Frame and canopy top sold separately. Mesh and solid walls can be mixed on the same tent for hybrid airflow + branding setups (most pros do this, see below).
Airflow. The actual reason mesh exists.
By midday, a tent with solid walls in summer heat runs 15+ degrees hotter than the outside. Mesh fabric breaks that. Air moves through the open weave. For outdoor sports sidelines, summer festivals, food vendors working through heat, and any setup where staff and gear need to stay comfortable, mesh walls are the difference between a usable tent and a sauna with a logo.
Bug protection without trapping heat
Outdoor evening events bring mosquitoes, gnats, and flies. Mesh walls keep them out. You get the bug protection of full enclosure without trapping body heat, food smells, or stale air. Useful for fundraisers, outdoor weddings, food service running through dusk, and any summer evening setup where guests stay comfortable but bugs don't.
Visibility through. Both directions matter.
From inside the tent, staff can see customers and the surrounding area without walking to a wall opening to check what's happening outside. From outside, mesh reads partially translucent depending on light: closer to opaque in bright sun, more transparent at night with interior lighting. Useful for staff awareness, customer flow management, and security sightlines at outdoor retail.
Still printable. Still branded.
Mesh walls print via the same dye-sublimation process as our solid walls. Graphics will be slightly less vibrant than on solid fabric because the open weave interrupts color density. Logos, brand colors, sponsor names, and team graphics come through clearly. Free design layouts and digital proofs included. Pantone color matching standard.
The pro setup: hybrid mesh + solid
Most operators running outdoor events through summer pick both mesh and solid walls instead of choosing one or the other. Run 2-3 solid walls for branding density and weather protection, plus 1-2 mesh walls for airflow and visibility. Solid walls go where branding matters most: back-of-booth, sponsor face. Use mesh walls on the customer-facing or shaded sides. Hybrid configurations deliver both at the same event: full brand presence and a comfortable interior.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between mesh walls and solid walls?
Solid walls are opaque polyester: full graphic surface, full privacy, full weather protection, no airflow. Mesh walls are breathable woven fabric. They let air through, allow visibility in both directions, and keep bugs out, but they don't provide privacy or full weather protection. The decision is mostly about temperature: solid walls in cold or rain, mesh walls in heat or bug country. Most operators run a hybrid mix. See the configuration table above.
Will mesh walls keep me cool in hot weather?
Yes, much cooler than solid walls. Mesh walls allow air to move through the tent and break the heat-trap effect that solid walls create. They won't drop interior temperature below ambient outside temperature, but they prevent the 15+ degree differential that builds up under a solid-walled tent in summer sun. For outdoor summer events, this is the single biggest reason to pick mesh.
Will mesh walls keep bugs out?
Yes. The mesh weave is tight enough to block mosquitoes, gnats, flies, and similar insects while still allowing airflow. Mesh walls are the right choice for outdoor evening events, food service running through dusk, and any setup in mosquito-heavy regions where you want enclosure without the heat trap of solid walls.
Can people see through mesh walls?
Partially, and it depends on lighting. From inside the tent looking out, visibility is generally clear and staff can see customers and surroundings. From outside looking in, mesh appears closer to opaque in bright sunlight and becomes more transparent at night when the tent is lit from inside. Don't rely on mesh walls for visual privacy. If privacy matters, use solid walls instead.
Are mesh walls weatherproof?
Partial weather protection only. Mesh walls block direct sun, wind-driven debris, and light drizzle, useful for typical outdoor event conditions. They won't stop a real rainstorm or heavy wind. If your event is at risk of serious weather, run solid walls instead, or use a hybrid setup with solid walls on the upwind side.
Can I mix mesh walls with solid walls on the same tent?
Yes. The hybrid approach is what most experienced operators run. Solid walls on the back-of-booth side for branding density and wind protection, mesh walls on the customer-facing or shaded sides for airflow and visibility. Both products use the same velcro attachment to the tent valance, so they can be swapped or combined per event. See
Custom Canopy Tent Walls for solid wall options.
Will my logo look good on mesh fabric?
Yes, with one honest caveat: graphics on mesh are slightly less vibrant than on solid wall fabric because the open weave interrupts color density. Logos, brand colors, sponsor names, and team identification still come through clearly and remain on-brand. If your priority is the highest-fidelity print quality possible, run solid walls for the high-visibility surfaces and use mesh on the airflow sides.
Will mesh walls fit my existing tent?
If you have an MVP Visuals canopy tent, yes. Mesh walls attach via velcro along the entire top edge to the tent's valance, same attachment system as our solid walls. They fit our 5x5 through 20x20 frames. If you own a non-MVP tent, contact us with the brand and frame model before ordering and we'll confirm compatibility.
How are mesh walls attached to the tent?
Velcro along the entire top edge attaches to your tent's valance. No tools required. Mesh walls install in under a minute per wall once your tent is set up, same process as solid walls.
Are mesh walls secure for overnight storage?
No. Mesh walls are not a security product. They block bugs and define your space, but they can be cut or pushed through. For overnight retail, secure inventory storage, or any setup where theft prevention matters, run solid walls with a door variant instead.
Will I see a proof before production?
Yes. Once we have your artwork, we send a digital proof that shows exactly how your design will appear on the mesh fabric. Approve or request changes. Nothing runs until you sign off. We'll flag any design elements that may not translate well to mesh (very small text, fine line work, complex gradients) so you can adjust before printing.
How long does production and delivery take?
Production takes 1 business day after artwork approval, same as solid walls. Delivery is 5-7 business days. Need it sooner for a tournament, festival, or event deadline? Reach out before ordering and we'll tell you what's realistic.
