Continuous-Air Inflatable Arch Setup and Takedown Guide

Check your arch before starting

The demonstration shows a standard continuous-air arch: its blower runs while the arch is in use. These steps are for that model, not for sealed-air, floating or misting arches.

Check your order details and the instructions supplied with your arch. Have the matching equipment ready, and review the setup area, power requirements, anchoring method and operating limits before unpacking. If you cannot identify the model, contact MVP Visuals with your order number and a photo before following the demonstration.

Set up the continuous-air arch

1. Unpack and lay out the arch

Remove the arch, ropes and stakes from the carry bag. Unroll the arch and lay it flat in the intended setup area. Check that the fabric will stay clear of sharp objects as it inflates and rises.

2. Attach the ropes and begin inflation

Attach the ropes to the arch's D-rings before inflation, as shown in the demonstration. Connect the arch's air system to the specified power source following the supplied instructions, then begin inflation.

3. Guide the arch upright

Work together to guide the arch upright as it fills. The demonstration shows a person at each leg; follow the crew requirements for your own arch. Keep the fabric clear of surrounding objects throughout the lift.

4. Secure and check the arch

Attach the free ends of the ropes to the stakes or anchoring equipment specified for your arch and surface. The demonstration shows the ropes spaced to hold the arch upright without leaning. Use your supplied anchoring instructions for placement and tension rather than estimating from the video.

Keep the blower powered throughout use for this continuous-air model. Complete the checks in your arch's instructions before opening the event area.

Take down and pack the arch

1. Guide the arch down as it deflates

Clear the area around the arch and have your crew ready to help it down. For the demonstrated model, unplug the power and guide the arch gently to the ground as it loses air.

2. Release the remaining air

Once the arch is down, remove the ground stakes or release the ropes from their anchors. Open the zippers at the bottom of the legs, as shown in the demonstration. Gently press along the deflating arch to move remaining air toward those openings.

3. Fold and roll for the bag

When the arch is fully deflated and dry, fold it over and roll it for its carry bag following the demonstrated packing method and your supplied instructions. Keep loose stakes clear of the fabric while you pack.

Before the arch goes into storage

• Let the arch dry completely before storing it.
• Wrap the stakes or store them separately so they cannot damage the fabric.
• Keep the dry arch in a cool, dry place.
