Check your parts before starting

Lay out the printed flag, matching pole sections, bungee cord and the base for your setup. Check the instructions supplied with your order for its hardware and base requirements.

Arrange the pole sections from smallest to largest so you can identify the next connection. Look over the sections for visible damage, and check the flag sleeve for tears or anything caught inside. Resolve a damaged or missing-part issue before starting assembly.

How to assemble your advertising flag

1. Slide the flag onto the smallest pole

Feed the smallest pole into the flag sleeve and slide it all the way to the top of the sleeve, as shown in the demonstration. Guide the fabric along the pole gently. If it catches, check the sleeve and pole position rather than pulling harder on the fabric.

2. Join the remaining pole sections

Connect the sections from smallest to largest. Line up each connection and check that the sections are seated together before adding the next one; do not force a connection that is misaligned. Then draw the flag gently along the assembled pole until it is fully seated.

3. Fit the flag to its base

Follow the instructions for your ground stake or cross base. If you use a cross base with a water bag, fill the bag and place it over the base before fitting the pole. Install the assembled pole onto the base. Check that it is seated as shown in the instructions before leaving the flag in position.

4. Secure the flag with the bungee cord

Loop the bungee cord over the hook at the bottom of the pole to hold the flag taut, as shown in the demonstration. Check that the cord is seated on the hook and the flag is secured. If your fastening hardware differs from the demonstration, follow the instructions supplied with your flag and pole set.
